The answer-readiness check looks for question-led headings, self-contained paragraphs and list or table structures in supplied HTML. These are observable formatting signals that can support clear answers.
How to use it
Paste the relevant HTML source. Run the check. Inspect the actual passages, not just the score. Rewrite a section only where doing so improves the answer.
Why it matters
Readers benefit when a section states its answer before qualifications and supporting detail. Clear structure can also make individual passages easier to interpret outside the full page.
Example
For “How do I update a sitemap?”, open with the direct procedure, then explain automation, exceptions and how to test the file. Do not force every heading into a question.
Understanding the result
The score is an equal-weight pass rate for three heuristics. A paragraph of 25–70 words counts as a concise passage; that range is a product choice, not a search requirement.
Limitations
This does not verify featured snippets, voice results, People Also Ask appearances or factual answer quality. Navigation markup in pasted source can affect counts.
