What this tool does
Parse JSON and return a consistently indented representation. When a top-level JSON-LD context exists, the tool identifies it without claiming vocabulary validation.
How to use it
Paste JSON without surrounding script tags. Run validation. Correct a syntax error if reported. Copy the formatted output.
Why it matters
Invalid syntax prevents consumers from reliably reading configuration or structured data.
Example
{"name":"Example"} is valid JSON. A trailing comma before the closing brace is not valid JSON.
Understanding the result
Successful parsing confirms syntax only. Properties and values can still be semantically wrong.
Limitations
JavaScript number precision applies; very large integers may lose precision. Do not reformat identifiers above the safe-integer range without a specialized parser. Input remains in the browser.
