What this tool does

Look up public DNS records for a domain using the server resolver. The nameserver tool restricts the query to NS records; other DNS views return common record types.

How to use it

Enter an ASCII or punycode domain without a path. Run the lookup. Review record types, values and available TTLs. Compare again after DNS changes have propagated.

Why it matters

DNS records help diagnose routing and mail configuration, but a CDN address does not necessarily identify the origin hosting company.

Example

An MX record identifies a mail destination; an A record maps a name to an IPv4 address. These are different responsibilities and should not be substituted for each other.

Understanding the result

Returned records are resolver observations at the recorded time. An empty set or lookup failure is not a domain-availability result.

Limitations

Resolver caches, split DNS and propagation affect observations. This is not an authoritative worldwide propagation test, registrar lookup or hosting attribution service.

Frequently asked questions

Does this guarantee search visibility?

No. This tool reviews the supplied evidence. Search engines and AI systems make independent selection decisions.

Is my input stored?

Browser tools process locally. Server tools process the input; reports are saved only when requested. Connected AI and data tools send required input to their service providers.
