Observe the relevant public HTTP response, bounded redirect chain, robots rules or sitemap XML. These checks use the WordPress server’s network perspective.
How to use it
Enter a public HTTP(S) URL; use the sitemap URL for sitemap validation. Run the named inspection. Review status codes, response headers or matching rules. Retest after changing your server, routing or sitemap configuration.
Why it matters
A successful editor preview does not establish what a crawler can fetch. Inspecting the public response makes routing and declaration problems visible.
Example
A 301 with a Location header describes a redirect. The redirect tool follows a bounded number of hops, validating each destination; the regular page audit asks for the final URL instead.
Understanding the result
A returned HTTP status is an observation, not an SEO verdict. Robots evaluation covers wildcard groups; sitemap validation checks the returned document and does not submit it to a search engine.
Limitations
Network restrictions, bot challenges and TLS failures can make data unavailable. Broken-link checks sample at most ten links under a time budget. HEAD restrictions are not automatically broken links. Missing headers need context-specific security review.
Frequently asked questions
Does this guarantee search visibility?
No. This tool reviews the supplied evidence. Search engines and AI systems make independent selection decisions.
Is my input stored?
Browser tools process locally. Server tools process the input; reports are saved only when requested. Connected AI and data tools send required input to their service providers.
