How to use it
Enter the final public page URL. Supply a target phrase only if the selected check needs a literal match. Run and read the returned fields alongside the scope notes. Verify relevant findings in the page source before editing the CMS.
Why it matters
A targeted source inspection helps separate a missing declaration from a problem that needs rendering, analytics or external account access.
Example
A canonical checker can show a declared URL and whether it matches the requested page. It cannot prove that Google selected that URL as canonical.
Understanding the result
Facts describe the retrieved source. “Not found” means the evidence was not found by this particular check; it does not establish that JavaScript-rendered content or external records do not exist.
Limitations
Only initial HTML is inspected. There is no sitewide crawl, live index verification, JavaScript execution, GBP access or measured conversion rate. Technology signatures and short-content flags are heuristics.
